"My first bad experience is when I called during my pregnancy to schedule a pre-partum appointment to meet the doctor. The receptionist was rude and told me they don't do those and to just call back after the baby was born. She could care less about getting a new client. I should have known how things would turn out. Anyway, I decided to go to this doctor after that experience and I am very sorry I did. The receptionists are rude on the phone, the in person receptionists are usually reading US Weekly when I disturb them when I check in ( or they are having a group conversation that they complete and then mean mug me for my interruption. The assistants are jerks. Paloma is the name of one who is always in a bad mood. I feel like I am bothering her by coming in to my appointment. I feel like the doctor is well experienced (dr cambria) but she is completely indifferent and uninterested in me and my son. I know she sees a lot of patients but I was hoping for someone who sincerely was interested. I mean every mother wants the pediatrician appointments to be special and happy occasions. The worst experience of my entire life at doctors appointments (and I am from queens!) was when I was 15 mins late for an appointment. It was as if I had committed a felony! Paloma especially was nasty to my entire family and even said (when the waiting room was empty by the way) that we "may not be able to see the doctor that say!" Of course we did. Again the waiting area was empty ! But she made sure we waited about an hour. Very passive aggressive ! I have gone to dr cambria about 5 times. Each time is like a slap in the face. Now finally giving up and transferring to another place. Also, at a mommy and me event recently I found out that others had the same type of experienced I had. One person said the same thing about their initial call and the rudeness but she was smarter and Found another place that was nice "
