Yet the minute I entered and Katz’s office, I found myself subjected to patient intimidation, a “CYA” mentality, and “punting” to other providers. She showed no concern whatsoever for my well-being, and shooed me away as quickly as possible. To a system where she knew I would wait several weeks at best to even be evaluated. And sure enough her “referral,” supposedly done two weeks ago, has yet to yield even a phone call."

What is Social Work?
