Dr. Veronica Del Rocio Espinoza, MD

Dr. Espinoza has been my sons pediatrician since the day he was born. She’s sweet to him, gentle during exams, and asks all of the right questions. We love Dr. Espinoza! 

My daughter went for her annual checkup in August 2021, but every month since we had problems getting her prescription for environmental allergies. Turns out the doctor wants to see her 4 times yearly to gauge whether she's reacting well. She's been on this medicine for 2 years without any issues. Not only did they fail to tell me that during the appointment but they did not have us book a follow-up at her last appointment and no one ever called to let me know. I thought it was pharmacy issues. When i finally called them they stated this was their policy because of insurance. I called three other pediatric offices in the area not one does quarterly pre-authorizations for allergy medicine. I also contacted my insurance company they also had never heard that or required for non-narcotic or habit forming drugs. They are simply trying to collect more money in forced frequent visits. I asked to speak to the doctor but she never did call. The office manager was rude, unhelpful and clearly lied to me. Providers like this should not be allowed to practice. Money should not be the primary reason for treating kids and babies. If you truly cared about patients they would have made certain we had a follow-up before her refills were gone. These people will not treat you well or like human beings but rather dollar signs.
