The provider did not seem to take into consideration previous messages we had shared via mychart about the condition. She was very quick to assume it was one thing, then immediately jump to my initial thought after I reminded her of details previously discussed via messaging. While I appreciate her hearing me out, it doesn't necessarily give confidence in the ability to assess and diagnose. I would not recommend, as this has happened in previous instances. Additionally, I do not love the speed at which she jumps to prescribing medication/treatments/tests without discussing options.
