Biography

Dr Timothy Yu is an attending physician in the Division of Genetics and Genomics at Boston Children’s Hospital and an associate professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School who specializes in neurogenetics, genomic medicine, autism genetics, and rare pediatric neurologic diseases. Internationally recognized for his pioneering work in individualized genetic therapies, Dr Yu helped develop one of the world’s first patient-specific antisense oligonucleotide treatments for a child with a rare neurodegenerative disorder, advancing the field of precision medicine.
