Dr. Thomas Ralph Monk, MD

Dr. Monk is very intelligent, kind, approachable and just the BEST PEDIATRICIAN! He does not dismiss your symptoms and he listens patiently. I am confident in his abilities and this makes me feel that child will be ok because even when sick - he provides enough education and things to look for to equip parents and he follows through. He is sincere and empathetic and provides care above and beyond any physician ive encountered. Truly thankful for him. A gem. His team is also stellar and the medical assistants are always polite, efficient and does all their safety checks.

I was not able to get through on the phone lines to make a same day sick apt for my son but luckily the RN team saw my message and got me in with another pediatrician that same morning which I was surprised to have such availability. So thankful we saw Dr. Monk who was so kind and patient with my 4 yo, what a world of difference from urgent care. Please keep same day slots for primary care open so we can see our experienced pediatrician team for continuity of care.

Dr. MONK was covering for our regular doctor and he was STELLAR!!! Our teen is medically complex and had Covid. He coordinated with her neurologist at Childrens about her medications, and ensured that the pharmacy had her Paxlovid. When he called the pharmacy he even checked on her dad's Paxlovid at the same time. He then called us in the evening to make sure we got it. He REALLY goes above and beyond. Hope to see him again some day. Thank you Dr. Monk.

Dr. Monk was excellent! He is a rare pediatrician or GP who takes time to listen, answer questions thoroughly, and establishes rapport with the patient while efficiently addressing the items of concern and the follow-up required. Many thanks to him for a very good check-up!

As always, it is a great clinic to visit in case of emergency or none emergency. We had a good experience with the quick care we received, professional service, generosity, Doctors and nurses are wonderful. Thank you very much for caring for us at the emergency room visits

Dr. Monk and the team at Redmond Pediatrics are thoughtful, kind, and informative. Dr. Monk spent a good deal of time with me and my son (he Is a new patient) and spent time really getting to know my son and his medical history. I would recommend Dr. Monk to my friends.

We love Dr. Monk! We followed him to Swedish Redmond after Swedish Bainbridge Island closed. We'll continue to follow him until either he retires or my child is 18, which ever comes first.
