Teddy John Wohlbold, MD, PhD, is a neonatologist at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr Wohlbold’s clinical focus centers on infection and sepsis in the preterm population as well as antimicrobial stewardship. He is particularly interested in guideline development and implementation for empiric antibiotic therapy in sepsis and necrotizing enterocolitis, as well as for antifungal use in extremely preterm infants. Dr Wohlbold obtained his Bachelor of Science in cell biology and neuroscience and psychology from Rutgers University in 2011.
