Dr. Tara Jean Loux, MD

Tara Loux, MD, is a double board-certified general surgeon specializing in pediatric surgery. She performs a variety of surgical procedures for children including hernia repair, appendectomy and treatment for abscesses. She also provides pediatric cancer care including removing solid tumors and central line placement.  I love my young patients, she says. It's impossible to keep them down for long. They're too happy and curious. They remind me to live in awe. Dr Loux, who has a clinical interest in minimally invasive and neonatal surgery and congenital malformations, acts as the primary caregiver for children who've had moderate or severe traumatic injuries, coordinating any specialty care they need.
