I had no questions or concerns, problems or conditions as I am extremely healthy. So grateful for that! But I felt like because of that it felt very routine and not as personal as it could have been. He chose not to ask me any questions such as how has your health been, comment on my blood pressure, heart rate, do you exercise, I noticed you had a bone density test in the last year, I see your are retired, what do you enjoy doing, etc. Just some form of personalization in addition to going thru the motions of a routine well visit would have been very nice. He was in and out of my room in no time.

Biography

Surajit Majumdar, MD, FACP, is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine at Chesterfield Internal Medicine & Rheumatology. He earned his medical degree from Calcutta Medical College and completed his postgraduate degree in Internal Medicine from the University of Calcutta - Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research. He completed his residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and his fellowship in Medical Leadership from the University of South Florida's Leadership Institute. He also obtained the prestigious Membership of Royal College of Physicians in 1992, while working as a Registrar in Medicine in the United Kingdom.
