Steffi Emig Witt, MD, believes that as a primary care provider, she’s responsible for educating patients about a healthy lifestyle. “If I could prescribe friendship, exercise and good nutrition, those would be my favorite medications,” she said. Dr Emig Witt’s favorite part of being a family medicine provider at Methodist Physicians Clinic is getting to know her patients. “I really treasure the relationships I build with my patients,” she said. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see someone who may be struggling physically, mentally or emotionally and be a part of their healing journey.
