Personal connections inspired Scott Thomas, MD, to become a doctor. Although both of his parents practiced medicine, he never considered going into the field until he was diagnosed with a brain tumor at 14. These experiences shaped his philosophy of care. He is grateful for the opportunity to care for people and always strives to do his best to improve the health of his patients.
