Dr. Samuel Bharksuwan, MD

Dr. Bharksuwan is my gynecologist. I was informed by office staff that he no longer does obstetrics prior to my appointment. I had an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy and Dr. Bharksuwan provided different providers at two nearby hospitals. The doctor I went with, Dr. Russell, was amazing and I’m grateful for the referral. Dr. Bharksuwan has been my gynecologist for three years now and I have no complaints. He listens to my concerns, bedside manners are top notch and provide various options for treatment. Highly recommend.

This Dr. should he avoided by women seeking competent prenatal care. Staff is quite rude as well. Reviews on other websites are generated by his staff.. dig deep and you will find all of the poor reviews for this physician. I wish I had.

Worst experience ever! So, I came to this Dr. because of the good reviews. I had been going to the amazing Dr. hulme before, but unfortunately he had to close his business due to cancer :( With that being said I've been searching for a good Obgyn since. I called to make an appointment, let them know what I was coming for and she assured me I would be able to have my concerns heard. Well I was excited to go because I thought my prayers and been answered and I had a new Dr., well until I got there. First, the appointment was at 11:00 and he came in at 11:30 rushing. He didn't seem concerned at all, letting me know how he was behind. So, I proceed to tell him my concerns, he then says he can't talk to me about any concerns because he has to go do a surgery?!? Excuse me?!?! What do you mean you can't talk to me about any concerns because you have to do a surgery?!? I specifically asked about this before I made my appointment! Maybe he didn't see me as important as the next person but I've never experienced anything like it in all my life! Patty or patsy, the receptionist was so nonchalant about it all....Horrible horrible horrible experience!!!

I was disappointed to discover that Dr. Bharksuwan does not accept high-risk obstetric patients, despite the fact that his profile on the Memorial Hermann website says that he does. I called Dr. Bharksuwan's office in order to schedule an initial prenatal appointment with him. The receptionist I spoke to informed me that she needed to ask me a list of questions in order for Dr. Bharksuwan to decide whether or not to accept me as a patient. These included questions regarding my weight, BMI, obstetric history, and general health history. I informed her of the fact that I have a history of hypertension and obesity. The receptionist called me back the following day to say that Dr. Bharksuwan would not accept me as a patient, due to my high blood pressure. I would encourage Memorial Hermann to update Dr. Bharksuwan's page on their website to reflect the fact that he does not really accept high-risk obstetric patients.
