This was my initial visit to Dr. Merkel and I was so happy that a family member recommended him to me. He listened to me and answered my questions in a kind and caring manner. He seemed to be genuinely concerned about my health and what I was saying. My previous pelvic exams were quite painful, making me dread going for my annual check. Dr. Merkel was so gentle with the exam, it was absolutely painless, I no longer will have to dread this appointment. He seems to be a great doctor with a great bedside manner, which is rare these days! I consider myself lucky to have found him.
