Biography

Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: For me, fighting cancer is intensely personal. As a young woman, I helped my father fight advanced stage prostate cancer. That was one of the most challenging and difficult times of his life where his oncology team helped him to overcome and ultimately cure his cancer. I knew one day that I wanted to be able to help people in this way. These experiences ultimately led me to a career in oncology where I approach every patient and family remembering what it was like to sit on the other side of the exam room. As a radiation oncologist, I am dedicated to developing a patient-centered treatment plan to achieve the best possible outcome while respecting quality of life goals.
