Dr. Nazar Shcheglov, DDS

I have received services at Harlem Dental Care (163 W 145th St, New York, NY 10039) at least 5 times, and my experience has been always positive. Dr. Shcheglov and his team/staff are kind and professional. The facility is clean and organized. 

The front desk staff is friendly but that's where anything positive about this place ends. The walls and floor in my exam room were filthy. The front area is kept clean, but it appears to be a false sense of security because the exam rooms look like they could film some dental horror movie in them. The radiation apron they drape over you during x-rays was old, ripped up, and had an odd smell to it and the seat was ripped up as well. Both arm rests were broken so when I was laid back my arms had no other option but to dangle beside me (not comfortable). This was all after waiting over an hour after my appointment time before I was finally seen. The hygienist maybe said 4 words to me the entire time and explained nothing about what was going on. At the end she said "you have some cavities." I still dont know how many or which teeth. I never saw the actual dentist. After it was all over I checked out with the friendly desk staff and promptly schedule an appointment for fillings elsewhere. The place is gross and ill-kept with equipment that looks like it was old when God was a boy, and the staff (other than the desk staff) is unhelpful and borderline unprofessional.
