Please DO NOT go to NHOMS: New Hampshire Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Nashua. My 76 year old wife secured an urgent appointment at NHOMS after fracturing an upper right tooth recently. All she wanted was to have that tooth extracted. However, once Dr. Nader Moavenian conducted an examination, he insisted on removing four teeth and inserting implants for crowns to the tune of $15,000.00! We declined and allowed him to extract the fractured tooth and another tooth! He became agitated and apparently lost interest in performing what we would allow at this time. My wife was to go under anesthesia, the doctor could not find a vein! So, he apparently administered a local. The extractions were so forceful and hurtful that he apparently fractured another tooth, a good tooth, in her mouth and had to extract that one as well. But, he did say that he wasn't going to charge us for that one! Before leaving on that day, Dr. Moavenian directed this comment to my wife saying, "We will see you in two weeks and we can discuss what has to be done for you to eat like a human being!" Seven days later, she still suffers from mouth pain, has a massive swelling the size of a baseball between her mouth and right check with a black and dark red colored bruise. After our insurance covered some of the cost, we were left with a bill, that was paid before the work was started, of over $800.00! I don't know about you, but we are NOT going back and will pass the message along to family and friends! My wife had Cataract and Glaucoma Surgery the day before this terrible experience.
