Dr. Meera Nirmal Menon, MD

Meera Menon, MD is a board-certified pediatric surgeon specializing in abdominal surgery. She performs a range of surgical procedures including appendix removals, gallbladder removal, treatment of benign and malignant abdominal masses, bowel surgeries and common laparoscopic procedures. She has a clinical interest in newborn surgery and cancer clearance. Dr Menon earned her medical degree Coimbatore Medical College in Coimbatore, India. After medical school, she completed her residency at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She followed that with fellowships at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr Menon cherishes caring for her patients and their families.
