Biography

Dr Shrestha earned his medical degree in Nepal and moved to the United States, where he completed a residency at Saint Francis Hospital, which is affiliated with the University of Illinois at Chicago. He subsequently completed his gastroenterology fellowship from University of New Mexico. He also trained as a National Visiting Inflammatory Bowel Disease Fellow at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Prior to joining MemorialCare, Dr Shrestha served as faculty at University of Arizona (Tucson), Loma Linda University and University of California, Riverside.
