I have been seeing Dr. Gillig since 2014 for both my thyroid and my diabetes.  My thyroid was well controlled when I began and remains so, but she is diligent in her check up and monitoring and we have changed the medication dosage from time to time to continue to improve functioning.   My diabetes was in the 9 a1c range when I started, and I have now had 4 successful checkups in a row of less than 7.  Dr. Gilling spends a lot of time in inquiry and review with my monitoring and symptoms, and as I have improved in knowlege,medication and care, she has actually been able to reduce the pharmaceutical load over the last year, which is important to me.  Because I am insulin dependent, my Medicare cost is catastrophic, and her ability to improve my care and reduce medication as it improved has been critical.  I have personally recommended 3 other patients to her and all are impressed with her thoroughness and the calm and professional manner her office maintains.
