Dr. Kari Michelle Barnard, MD

Dr Kari Barnard is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with additional training in Surgical Obstetrics. Originally from Northern California, she completed her undergraduate studies in Spanish at San Francisco State University before honing her interest in medicine. She obtained her medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico and completed a Family Medicine residency in her hometown of Redding, CA at Shasta Community Health Center. After developing a significant interest in women’s health and obstetrics during her residency, she then completed a Surgical/Advanced Obstetrics fellowship at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
