Dr. Joseph Daniel Schwartz, MD, MPH

Dr Joe Schwartz is a board-certified family physician, who joined Inova with over 16 years of clinical experience as a Navy flight surgeon and primary care physician. Most recently, Dr Schwartz has provided medical oversight of Inova contract clinics in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area, seeing ambulatory and occupational health patients. Dr Schwartz is in his eighth year in the Navy Reserve, serving the Marine Corps as a flight surgeon and reserve affairs deputy at Headquarters Marine Corps Health Services. This is his 20th year in the Navy, the majority of which he spent in support of fixed-wing squadrons out of Whidbey Island, WA and the Blue Angels out of Pensacola, FL.
