Dr Jon E Welch is one of the worst doctors I have ever had to work with. The only reason I'm even giving a 1 star is because of the fact that he detected and diagnosed me with a disease that no other doctor detected. On the other hand it's like I'm dealing with a child. Every test, every lab result came in a timely manner. Dr Welch however did NOT call to inform me. I had to call the lab, make sure the results were in call him (who is never reachable!) deal with his nurses and wait for a call back. I don't ever get calls back still!! So it takes days sometimes weeks and it gets to the point where I'm demanding emergency appointments to be able to get to talk to him. I have caught him in numerous lies, trying to blame his untimeliness and his mistakes on the cancer institute where I now have to go to for ivig treatment. The treatment orders are unreadable by the nurses there and this last time I was unable to even receive a much needed infusion! His order were incomplete and incomprehensible to the nurses and I was denied treatment. I'm also going to add that he is one of the few doctors who REFUSE to be contacted after hours. So when I need a treatment order clarified, I was denied treatment due to the fact that his orders didn't make sense and he was un reachable. REALLY??? I was not able to get my monthly infusion??? That's getting close to malpractice. Do not get mixed up in the incomprehensible MADNESS of Dr WELCH!!!!!
