I am extremely disappointed in my experience with Direct Orthopedic Care. While the medical team was great to work with; I was misquoted- twice- regarding my monetary obligation regarding physical therapy. I was told by their office staff that my physical therapy was covered 100%. I questioned this information as I have decent insurance but not great insurance and asked that it be verified again. I was told immediately it was in fact covered. Four appointments later I was notified via phone that my insurance does NOT in fact cover physical therapy at all until my yearly deductible is met ($5K +) and that I had a balance of $426 (ish) dollars. I immediately stopped my physical therapy routine and started contacting their billing department that same day. I reached out on three different occasions never to receive a response and only to receive an actual bill of roughly $496-- which is not what I was told over the phone. I continued reaching out to their billing department with no response and found out today that my credit card on file was billed the full amount. 

So now I still have an injury that is still causing pain and discomfort and now on top of that I have an almost $500 charge after their billing department refused to engage in a conversation with me.

Dr. Heinrich did a poor job on my partial knee replacement. After 2 years, I was still in pain. Ended up having a revision with a different surgeon. He did not put the implant in properly and left my kneecap full of arthritis and did not use protective measures to stop the implant from hitting my kneecap. When I reported the pain, all he was worried about was working on my other knee. DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR. YOU WILL BE SORRY.
