Jenifer Papaccio (LPC 0014364/NPI 1033779574) texted my husband unsolicited following an online search we did for a provider. I wanted to do at least one in-person session for introductions since we were seeking family therapy and as a former therapist myself I believe this helps to establish rapport. Jenifer replied that we were "rude" for asking about in-person sessions followed by another text calling us irresponsible because our profile says we are open to video sessions (which we are). When we tried to explain, she blocked us. I called her to discuss and she has chosen not to return my call. I am disappointed a licensed professional is conducting themselves in a way that can cause harm, especially at the critical point where someone is choosing to seek mental health support.
