I had a pleasant visit with Dr. Castagna and his staff.  With a pre-existing condition, the doctor has given me options on how to improve my foot health.  I liked the way he listened and gave me options to consider.

I saw this doctor a couple years ago for foot pain associated with running. I'm a short and curvy woman, and he said, "You don't look like a runner." What am I supposed to do with that info? I was also looking at my phone screen when he first entered the room and he made a remark about how my generation is always on their phones. Keep in mind I put it away completely when he entered the room so I could give him my full attention. He also talked down to me in classic mansplainer tone. He kept asking questions but would interrupt when I tried to answer. I finally had to snap at him and say, "You won't even let me finish what I'm saying!" AND HE LEFT THE ROOM while shaking his head at me. This guy is a real jerk. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone at all.
