First of all, it's nearly impossible to get an appointment with KU dermatology. If you're lucky enough to call when there's an opening, it will be AT LEAST 6 months in the future. Secondly, you might not get the doctor you asked for. 
Finally, this doctor assumed he could tell me what treatment we were going to do, without offering cheaper options. His freezing procedure is one with high copays for "outpatient surgery." When I protested, saying I preferred a simple prescription cream, which is cheap and requires no copay, he actually said that he is entitled to make a lot of money for his education and work. Bottom line: neither this doctor or the KU Dermatology department is patient-centered. They're about money. My advice is to look elsewhere.
