I am COVID-19 vaccinated, I have a history of Tonsilitis, and met with Nurse Jackie to get antibiotics as I am experiencing a flare up. She told me that she only sees severe tonsillectomy patients and made me feel like an idiot for seeing an ENT instead of going to urgent care. She proceeded to give me 3 separate COVID-19 lectures and tell me about her and her husband's experience with COVID-19. After her third lecture where she told me that even vaccinated people can get extremely sick, and I said "I understand, but I have anxiety about COVID-19 and you are triggering it very badly right now", as my heart was racing. She said "I am not triggering it, I'm not, and ignored my stressed/heavy breathing". Single-handedly the worst patient care that I have ever received. Do not be a nurse if you are not going to be caring towards your patients.
