Dayne Bonzo, DO, is a board-certified pediatrician with extensive experience with allergy testing and treatment and nutrition literacy. Dr. Bonzo earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. He completed his pediatric residency at Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital where he served as Chief Resident and earned the title of Associate Clinical Staff. Before joining PeaceHealth, Dr. Bonzo spent 12 years in the US Air Force, departing with the rank of Major. He was the sole pediatrician in the US Air Force at the Eielson Air Force Base with a panel of over 1,000 patients. Dr. Bonzo shared, “my care for my patients comes through not only quality of care, but also equality of care. Every child should be treated the same, regardless of socioeconomic status, gender, race, age or identity.” With this mindset, Dr. Bonzo works to promote food literacy and long-term resiliency and has previously organized volunteer activities with local food banks. Dr. Bonzo has a love for doing all things outdoors, including growing food. He enjoys hanging out with his family-his wife and their four children. They also have four cats, a dog, a guinea pig and possibly a turtle being added to the mix.
