I feel lucky to have found Dr. Ryan.  He is friendly, personable, and never in a hurry.  He listens to anything I have to say, and gives thoughtful, detailed answers.  He does not rush to prescribe new tests or specialist consultations unless he thinks it's really necessary.  He considers whether a test will tell us anything we need to know.  On a recent visit he spent time checking to see what health risks I might encounter when traveling to several different countries, and advised certain inoculations. He responds to messages through the Virginia Hospital Center network. I'm pleased to be one of his patients.
