Dr. Patel expressed little concern for me as a patient. He apparently follows the same decision making flow chart for each patient. He did not listen or show concern or empathy. Perhaps because his speciality is addiction he assumes all patients are addicts. Under his care my health declined rapidly. He refused office visits, insisting on telephone appointments. He changed medications without following up on effects. Perhaps he was over extended or under qualified but he was unable or not willing to provide quality health care for me.
