Dr. Barrett Henley Barnes, MD

We've been with Dr. Barnes for almost 10 years now. He clearly knows my child. Not just from a medical chart but he knows my child's favorite sport and sports team. He engages in conversation directly with my son and makes my son (and therefore me) feel like a person and not just a medical record number. He spends time not just checking off the boxes of what has to be accomplished during his time in the exam room but also sharing about new research that's being done and upcoming advances in treatment. You can tell he genuinely cares about what he's doing and the people he's doing it for. He's very clearly in his profession because he cares and wants to be part of the advances happening.

The doctor was thorough in his explanations, took the time to listen to me and was thorough in his treatment decisions. I felt very heard and seen by the doctor and like my child was in good hands. I also loved that he was so gentle and kind with my son, speaking to him about everything he was going to do first. And my son loved getting a book and a bear!

I absolutely LOVE this combined clinic. Having everyone in the same meeting made me feel heard and allowed everyone to problem solve together in one visit.

We had all our questions answered, did not feel rushed or bad about asking more, and felt really listened to by the whole team
