Stay away from this doc - 0 stars

First - just have to say I have never written a poor review for a doctor in all my 65 years. Now I feel a responsibility to write one. I saw Dr. Manoli for an urgent visit after breaking my foot. He could not locate the break on the xray but went ahead an gave me a heavy hard plastic knee high boot nevertheless (note: xrays taken at another facility later that day located the break right away). I tried to tell his assistant that it hurt badly to wear the oversized boot, but he insisted I take it. Well I brought it back the next day to say it was not wearable with the pain, and they refused to take it back. I left it on their desk since it was useless to me. Now 4 months later I am getting billed $400 for it and they refuse to drop the charge!! I sensed from the get-go this was not a sincere caring doctor - and should have followed my gut at the time and limped out. Do yourself a favor - stay away from this doc! I found a fabulous ortho through a friend referral the next day.
