Dr. Angelena Crown, MD

After my cancer diagnosis, I met with three surgeons and I feel that Dr.Crown was the best possible doctor to perform my lumpectomy. She explained my options, and understood-without having to be told-that having a good cosmetic outcome is important. She had thoroughly studied my case, and I left her appointment feeling hopeful and more aware of my cancer prognosis and options for surgery. For example, she started the appointment saying "so you know that this is stage 1a, it's totally curable, and you're going to be okay, right?" The answer was no. From the day my lump was discovered, everyone else had been treating me like I was going to die and provided me a very low understanding of the severity of my case. Naturally, I imagined the worst. However, I left the appointment with Dr. Crown feeling upbeat and positive. Finally, she distinguishes herself in that she knows the latest research and techniques and specializes in treatment of pre-menopausal breast cancer patients. I feel fortunate to be treated by her.

When I called to schedule a consult with Dr. Crown in May I was told I could not by office staff and was offered an appointment with another provider. My plastic surgeon made a call to Dr.Crown to get me scheduled for a consult and subsequently surgery with Dr. Crown. I had multiple consultations, including with surgeons in San Francisco. I Will recommend Dr. Crown to anyone needing a breast cancer surgeon. She is amazing at her craft, honest and more caring thank any of the other surgeons I met with. Her leaving Swedish is a true loss for your system.

From the time that I met Dr. Crowne I experienced excellent care. My care went very smoothly and nothing was overlooked. All of my needs were addressed in a timely manner and I felt Dr. Crowne went above and beyond in several instances. This has been a stressful time in my life and I am appreciative of the compassionate, and proficient care I received from Dr. Crowne and her team.

Dr. Crown is amazing. I can't belive the amount of time she spent explaining so many details about my diagnosis and what to expect on my healthcare journey ahead. She seems to have a passion not only for her speciality, but helping patients better understand their condition and empowering them to seek the care they deserve. She is wonderful!

Dr. Crown and her staff are great, they were very kind and helpful when helping me through my diagnosis which was scary and full of unknowns. The team answered any questions I had and it was easy to schedule appointments as the team would call me to do so. I could not have a better team to help me through this!

I appreciated Dr. Crown's vast knowledge of clinical trials and relevant studies that helped inform my surgical decisions. She was also adamant in explaining what she would do and why if she were in my position, which gave me confidence in how to move forward. Dr. Crown is an exceptional healthcare provider!

Dr. Crown is bright, honest, thoughtful and made me feel at ease with a new diagnosis. She is patient focused and professional with an excellent bedside manner and well-versed in new research and is able to translate information clearly and with respect. She is a really good doctor!

Dr. Crown is a great Dr. She made me fell relaxed at ease and most importantly that I was in safe hands. She is very confidence knowledgeable and at the same time extra humble and kind with the patients . She answered all my questions and was very friendly and kind

I am very happy with Dr. Crown and her team. I have had a lot of good (and bad!) Doctors at Polyclinic in the past, so I know from experience when I'm in the company of good doctors and nice people. I am glad to have Dr. Crown as a part of my health team.

Dr. Crown is an excellent surgeon who, by clearly explaining procedures and answering my questions, relieved much of the anxiety that I generally have during medical appointments. She and the staff working with her made me feel very comfortable.
