Last year they charged me an ADDITIONAL $150 for getting contacts exam. They said they do ‘additional’ tests for contact wearers. My fault for not telling them not to do the bells & whistles. This year, I went & simply wanted the exam for contacts & glasses - nothing additional than what my insurance paid for. Apparently, the additional tests for contacts is MANDATORY for them to give me a contact prescription. This is the first place I’ve gone to where my insurances yearly contact & glasses exam isn’t enough, an additional $150 from the customer is needed/wanted. I left my appointment & made an appointment with another optometrist within 20 min. Charging an additional $150 for tests the customer doesn’t want is ridiculous & greedy.
