"Dr Ferillo after 14 years of being your patient you were someone I trusted until you & your practice proved to me I couldn't !! Last yr, I hurt my back & Lori the RN ordered an MRI and my primary care doctor sent me for a nerve study that you also received a copy of, Both of those reports clearly stated I needed surgery to fix my issues but instead of referring me to a surgeon you held me hostage in your practice setting me up for a surgical procedure that I never would get authorized it's for people on Medicare only & I own my own business and even if I did received authorization it would NOT fix the issues in my spine On Dec 5 I was told I was denied by your practice for the procedure when I contacted my insurance they told me they hadn't even received a request nor had I received a denial letter and in the process I was told that I needed to do PRP into my hips when I asked about getting another halogen injection I went from $300 out of pocket to $3,000 and even the spine surgeon PA stated to me @ my 2 week post op appt that you should had never been taking any of my $ because everything that was affecting me from my lower back down to my feet was because of the issues going on in my spine therefore you took money I could have used while I was out recovering from the real surgery and I was lied about how long PRP lasted Upon telling 1 of your doctors that you set me up for surgery had me close down my business & was told I was denied when my insurance hadn't even received the request that Dr. said "that your practice lost money too" & then Margaret tried to Gaslight me as when I finally had my denial letter it stated you only asked for permission to do the procedure 3 days before the procedure date, the same date of 12/15 you gave me on my final consult on 11/16 however Margaret said that I was never given the date of 12/15 even though it's the same date on my denial letter and even after the denial your practice just left me to suffer until I picked up the phone and called a surgeon myself something you and your practice should have done months ago I am now fully aware you never looked at my MRI or nerve report after speaking with Louisa your office manager yet you were going to go into my spine and remove something from within it although you never looked at my MRI and as Luisa states you're not a surgeon a procedure that was still new to you Yesterday I had my 8-week post op with the surgeon who you know very well who when asked stated very clearly to me that your procedure would have never fixed any of my issues and if you don't believe me the next time you do lunch just ask him . Doctors take an oath to do no harm and give patients proper duty of care, something you failed me miserably with both , your neglect caused me physically mentally emotionally and financially harm which is why I now believe you held me hostage for your own financial gain to do a procedure that would have never helped me, if approved and took $3,000 for PRP into my hips when the only thing you should have been doing was referring me to a surgeon After 14 years of being in your care I came to you with cervical issues in 2009 and that was the only time an MRI was ordered on it even though in 2015 my left shoulder was violently ripped out of its socket affecting it & two car accidents in 2018 that caused additional cervical issues but no one at your practice including you thought it would be a good or wise or smart idea to get an updated MRI for 14 years again showing your clear failure in my care from you & your practice Dr Feriillo you have personally done an ablation on me where you never tested the probes prior to burning which is out of the state guidelines & every time I came for an appointment with Lori I had an hour wait therefore anyone reading this note that you have been warned that because he owns Northway Surgery Center he will hold you hostage to perform procedures on you to fatten his wallet even if they don't help you and keep you from the Drs who are real surgeons that can Shame On You!!!"
