Midwife - Santa Fe, NM

"Scheduled to do an Annual PAP, took time off from work just to tell me they perform this every 3 years so she did not perform the PAP. I wanted this done because my stomach has been hurting instead she recommended lab test and ultra-sound. Did my labs and called the office for the results and the MD never called. Waited all day and call 3 times. After the 3rd call the reception put me on hold and never got back with me. Had to go to the Physicians Office while I was still on hold and see 3 receptionist doing nothing but gossiping to each other. I asked why I'm put on hold when the office had no customers, clients or patients that they were even busy with. No one was in the Office, one of the receptionist had a smile on her face like it was funny. Is this how they treat their customers? I mean on my 2nd call, I asked how long it was going to take for the MD to call me back and got a rude response of, "I don't know, she's on another line and I don't know how long that's gonna take but ill give her the message." So by the time I went up there since I had not heard from the MD by 4:45, I walked in, and another MD that was there got a print out of my labs and asked me if that's what I went up there for, I said yet, gave me my results and did not even explain the labs. Thank God I have a sister that is an RN at Presbyterian who read the results to me. Customer Service is so Unprofessional. Waste of my time and money. If the MD was too busy, she could of at least called back to let me know that she would call me back especially if she knew how many times I called throughout the day. "
