"Be aware of dangerous cardiologist Justin Anthony May. He made 4 VIOLATIONS OF STANDARD OF CARE (VSOC) resulting in the wrongful death of the Patient (Pt.) admitted to Emergency with heart attack due to coronary artery disease (CAD) and normal Vitals and biomarkers (AST, ALT, BUN, Creatinine, eGFR) of Heart, Liver, Kidney, despite elevated sugar in blood due to diabetes. Doctor demonstrated unprofessional, incompetent medical actions by refusing urgently needed treatment to open the blocked artery, such as stents placement, within 1 or 2 hours (http://www.emdocs.net/9047-2: Immediate invasive strategy), or maximum within 24 hrs in ICU (http://www.emdocs.net/9047-2: Early-invasive treatment). He made nothing 40 (forty) hrs after the Pt. was hospitalized with a heart attack and transferred to ICU! Later I understood a business reason of his unprofessional action. It was deadly 1st VSOC: Extreme delay in treatment. First morning in ICU, hospitalist Dr. Frey and another doctor told me face-to-face that “this cardiologist knows nothing about internal organs”, and the Pt. had very low chance to survive because the cardiologist did not open the blocked arteries, and Pt.’s internal organs may be deadly damaged just in some hours. Justin May did not follow his obligation before the patient had a strong heart attack. In contrary, without authorization by the Patient or family, he inserted into Pt’s heart Impella-CP device, which was contraindicated to Pt's CAD diagnosis (https://www.fda.gov/media/140763/download). It was 2nd deadly VSOC: Contraindicated Therapy. More than that, he used Impella-CP for 9 days while FDA limit is only 4 (four) days (https://www.fda.gov/media/140763/download ) It was a very deadly 3rd VSOC: Unprofessional Overdose. Finally, the 4th VSOC was a Forged record in hospital records made for making-money purposes. He wrote that the "PCI-stenting Risk Assessment Tool" gave 42% mortality risk, this is for justifying Impella-CP usage. It was easily verifiable because “The SCAI Tool” was available at http://scaiscientificsessions.org/PCIRiskMobile2/PCIRiskMobile2.htm as a public medical program. In truth, the real hospital records data used with the "PCI-stenting Risk Assessment Tool" return this risk of 18% to 28.2%, which is acceptable for Emergency stenting. The Pt. was also put on a mechanical lung ventilator to care for breathing problems, which appeared after 4.5 days of lethal Impella-CP for CAD patients. The Patient got stents only on the 7th day after hospitalization when all biomarkers of internal organs became much worth than in Emergency and before Impella-CP placement. Impella-CP was removed only on 11th day, but the Patient’s internal organs got lethally damaged due to an overdose of Impella-CP contraindicated to Pt's CAD diagnosis. Four SOC violations allowed Dr. May to generate a hospital bill of $426,025.18, plus bills from other doctors. He also refused multiple attempts to contact him for discussing the bad effects of Impella-CP. On the 17th day evening, the Pt.'s heart stopped, then restart with worsening efficiency and decreasing medical parameters, and the doctor-in-charge told the Pt. was dying, and later the heart stopped. Surprisingly, hospital records stated that family requested disconnecting the Patient from lines of life-support (?). His 2nd FALSE RECORD is that he explained all details of Pt's health. This is a 100% lie as he refused all tries of Family to contact him for several days. ATTORNEYS SAID SOC VIOLATIONS ARE “SILVER BULLETS” AGAINST Dr. MAY. But his legal defense may request more med-experts up to $90K. The attorney recommended a complaint to BMH, MSBML, and Mass media to let people know one of the reasons for the mortality increase. Dr. MAY SHOWN UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT AND INCOMPETENCY IN A PRACTICE OF MEDICINE AS DEFINED IN THE PHYSICIAN LICENSURE LAWS, under SECTION 73-25-29; § 73-25-29(8 d): Guilty of any conduct LIKELY TO DECEIVE, DEFRAUD OR HARM THE PUBLIC; (8 f): USE OF ANY FALSE, FRAUDULENT OR FORGED STATEMENT.
