Emergency Medicine Doctors - Monroe, LA

"This beginner ER doc is the last one you want to have to deal with. Unfortunately, when an ambulance drops you off you don't have much choice. Next time, I'll have to call ahead to make sure he's not there. My experience with Kuku was so bad I had to report it to the Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners. I took an ambulance to the ER because my legs were swelling, I was out of breath and couldn't walk. I had clots in both legs and lungs and it was extremely painful. He was very smug and had no sense of urgency whatsoever. I had been to the ER 6 days prior and a month prior to this visit, and I've had several surgeries. I tried to discuss previous pain medications but he said 'you're not leaving here with any of those meds!' I said ' I didn't ask you for them'. Then, he started profiling me as an addict and giving me a hassle about everything I said. Without going into every other detail, this is one of those doctors that is a complete jerk and I hope he either finds a better way to treat patients or finds another job. "
