"When I called to schedule an appointment, I explained my history of skin cancer and that I needed my annual skin cancer screening because I had several suspicious growths and needed an exam by a dermatologist specializing in skin cancer. The scheduler confirmed I could be helped but would have to wait about two months for an appointment. The appointment was scheduled. After taking time to complete the pre-appointment information online and take time away from work to drive to my appointment, I checked in and waited and then was taken to the exam room. The nurse asked what I was there for, and I explained what I had told the scheduler. The nurse abruptly said they could only look at a few suspicious growths but not do the skin cancer screening. She told me the doctor did not have time to do the screening until November. I had never heard of such a parceling out of dermatology services. I told the nurse I was very clear when I booked the appointment and asked them to perform the services I had booked. She refused. A manager I spoke with next also failed offer a solution even though the mistake was clearly made by the dermatology office. I was shocked at the lack of concern for a patient and the poor service standard of this dermatology center. Their errors have delayed the treatment of my medical condition and cost me time and money. It was also sad to see they had extra time to visit with a manufacturer's sales representative but none for a patient. "
