Cardiologists - Boynton Beach, FL

"This physician should be ashamed of himself, with his arrogance and unprofessional behaviors. He has a lack of compassion for the elderly. My mother had a hospital visit, where she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. I had brought my mother to this facility twice for follow-ups. I worked in Palm Beach Gardens at the time, so both visits I had taken off work. The staff there in both instances was discourteous, unprofessional, and unhelpful at best. The first visit, Marty Jacob was running over 90 minutes late. It is very unreasonable to have patients wait this long. Him running late was his problem not mine, therefore I had left and rescheduled with the NP. The day of my appointment, I left work 3 hours early to arrive at this appointment. It took me a few extra minutes with getting my mother in the car, as she was wheelchair bound and I had to manage that myself. I had the decency to call the office and let them know I would be 5 minutes late. I showed up at the office exactly 6 minutes late. I checked in, and the front office staff stated that the NP had left early to pick up her kids! This again, was not my problem, but became mine. Not only did I leave my staff and patients at work with one less body, I wasted my time and effort. I then received a letter of dismissal from the office, which might I add had so many terrible grammatical errors, it was very insulting. The letter stated I was unreliable with showing up to appointments. If I was able I would attach the letter. Moving forward I took her to Cleveland Clinic, an organized and professional environment. Please beware of this physician as there is no lack of empathy, and the only care is revenue. In the past when my mother was in dire need of her heart and trigeminal neuralgia medications, which might I add can cause havoc on her heart, and severe pain when not taken , the office was ignoring all of the requests. I was lucky enough that a physician that she had not seen in over a year was kind enough to assist my mother. Marty Jacobs should be ashamed of himself, and the public needs to know what type of office this is. My plan is to report this , as I have evidence of phone calls, screen shots, and GPS tracking details. I have copies of all visits, and the letter. My lawyer will be submitting all of the information to the department of health, which will hopefully curve his arrogance."
