"My adolescent was seen by Mr. Napolin twice. It is very hard for him to open up. My son shared with me something very hard for him and I encouraged him to talk to Mr. Napolin about it. My son brought it up and told me that he basically ignored him and moved on and suggested an old book to read regarding his social anxiety. At the end of that visit, I was prepared to schedule a next visit unaware of how that visit went. I was told I'd have to call and schedule an appointment for that because there was no receptionist available at that time. I myself have seen two other PsyD's and other psychiatrist who do their own scheduling. It felt very much like my time was unimportant to Mr. Napolin. I like millions of other working parents of young children have enough to squeeze in daily. Taking extra time to call and hope that when I do a receptionist is available felt very inconsiderate and unprofessional to me. On 8/28 Mr. Napolin called to collect a balance of $7.81 that was a result of an early July visit. That $7.81 balance was paid in full and posted to my checking account on 8/21. A full week prior. The payment was made in person with a debit card to the receptionist, fortunately, she was available the day I went in to pay it. I was quite suprised that the therapist himself would call to collect any balance and not a billing department, especially considering the bill was in fact already paid and he wasn't able to schedule an appointment fore himself but he could call to collect a previously paid balance of $7.81. Overall, the only thing it felt like Mr. Napolin cared about was receiving payment. Even though, he had in fact already been paid. "
