"Dr Mehan cared about what I had to say, took extensive notes during our discussion, was soft-spoken and courteous; probably detected I was nervous. The staff I encountered at the Queen Creek office were all personable and professional. I would recommend their practice without any reservations."

"The front desk ladies are very nice and welcoming. The room staff were very rigid and not friendly or personable. Dr. Lythgoe has taught them well as he was very short and non-caring. he did not examine me! He only asked me a few questions and said they'd send off my specimen to the lab and call me with results. It's been 7 weeks and no call! I have called back 2 times and the answer both times have been "the doctor has not had a chance to review your lab results. He will get back with you soon.".. Still nothing.... My PCP recommended Dr Lythgoe and I have shared my experience with my PCP and asked him not to refer anyone else. I am searching for a new urologist. I do not recommend using Dr Lythgoe."

" Patient care seems reliable once you can get in the door, but it is a long (>45 minutes) wait for my to see the doctor after my appointment time each visit. This very frustrating. I switched to Dr. Gordon because of this issue at the last place I went for care. Now that he has joined the team at East Valley Urology Center, I’m back to a long wait. Update. Scheduled procedure with Dr. Gordon. Afterwards, I had concerns about recent test results with primary care doctor and I left messages with assistant extension to discuss them before the procedure since no one answered the phone. No return call (for days). Also, I was not sure about procedure details and preparation so I left messages with Nikki surgery scheduler. No return call (for days). Finally called appointment desk and they put me through to another surgery scheduler, Sandi. She was impatient and impolite. East Valley Urology Center seems not to really understand customer service or how to work with sick people. If you can’t provide good and timely care/service to the patients you have, then you probably have too many patients. Probably like most of you, I spend a lot of the hard earned money for good health care. Something is seriously wrong if this is the best treatment we can get from a health care facility in exchange for our hard fought for resources."

"Chose this office over Arizona State Urology after being treated horribly by rude front counter staff on the first visit. First impression is everything, from welcome counter staff to MA, and Dr. Peifer and East Valley Urology exceeded that. Very kind and empathetic. Follow-up was in Mesa on 1/14, and front counter staff (young lady) was rather brash and forward. Surgery scheduler, Lydia, very accommodating and upfront. Barb at San Tan went out of her way to speak to me after hours on 2/1/2022. Surgery date options limited so be flexible, but Lydia works her best to get what is best for you, the patient. These professionals have a "Patient-First" focus. "

"Dr Larsen is a great doctor. Dr Larsen's PA is wonderful also, along with her male medical assistant. Her medical assistant told me to call him for any questions I may have and was helpful with lifting my disabled husband on to the bed for me. He had great bedside manner, such a sweet kid."

"I had numerous problems after my HIFU surgery including being catheterized numerous times. I could not urinate properly after my catheters were removed. I was prescribed antibiotics, but they were never as long as my session with the cather. The final time he removed my catheter he said he did not know what else to do for me. He never did any bloodwork except to check my PSA. I finally ended up in the ER where they easily saw that I had a UTI. My HIFU was on 5/22/23 and my last ER visit was 8/19/23"
